Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev within the framework of the 4th Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2025), Anadolu Agency reports.
During the meeting, Erdogan noted that Turkey and Azerbaijan will continue to take steps to develop cooperation in a number of areas, in particular, in the energy, transport and defense sectors. According to the report, the parties discussed the state of bilateral relations, regional and international issues.
The Turkish head of state considered the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia to be 'commendable' and noted that Turkey wants to see Azerbaijan as an “architect of peace” in the South Caucasus. Erdogan emphasized that Turkey is also cautiously continuing the process of normalizing relations with Armenia.
The Antalya Diplomatic Forum will be held from April 11-13 and will bring together world leaders under the theme Reclaiming Diplomacy in a Fragmented World.

On April 11, the Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings within the framework of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
On April 12, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan will participate in the panel discussion “Challenges and Opportunities for Regional Cooperation in the South Caucasus” with the Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Georgia within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
