U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday (April 3) that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may visit the U.S. next week, Reuters reports.
"We'll speak about Israel, we'll speak about what's going on," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One.
Axios reported on Friday (April 4) that Netanyahu is expected to visit the White House on Monday (April 7), citing four sources with knowledge of the matter.
The report added that if the visit takes place as planned, the Israeli leader would be the first foreign leader to meet with U.S. President Donald Trump in person to try to negotiate a deal to remove tariffs.
