Georgian President Mikhail Kavelashvili will visit Azerbaijan and then Armenia in mid-April. His Advisor on International Relations, Luka Ekhvaya, disseminated information about Kavelashvili's planned visits, reports “Ekho Kavkaza.”
In the April 2 edition of the Public Broadcaster's podcast “42nd Parallel,” Luka Ekhvaya said that Kavelashvili's first foreign visit will be to Azerbaijan on April 14-15.
“Then to Armenia - presumably at the end of the month. The dates have not been determined yet,” he said.
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze visited Armenia and Azerbaijan twice each in 2024. On March 20, he again visited Armenia, where he attended a soccer match between the national teams of Armenia and Georgia with his Armenian counterpart, Nikol Pashinyan.
After that, Nikol Pashinyan visited Georgia, where another match was held between the national teams of both countries.
