Canadian Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly referred to the 2016 April Four-Day War, when Azerbaijan attacked Nagorno-Karabakh; more than 100 people were killed.
“On the anniversary of the 4-Day War of April 2016 in Nagorno-Karabakh, we remember the lives lost and reaffirm Canada’s commitment to peace and dialogue. A lasting resolution can only come through diplomacy and respect for international law”, Joly said in a post on X.
