US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said on Thursday that President Trump "is not against NATO," but that members need "to fulfill the obligations that the treaty imposes."
"No one expects that you're going to be able to do this in one year or two, but the pathway has to be real," he added while standing next to NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.
Rubio is in Brussels to take part in a NATO foreign ministers meeting.
