Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Magdalena Grono, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Armenian Government press office reports.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the situation in the South Caucasus region, in particular, the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process. The sides attached importance to the fact of reaching an agreement on the draft agreement “On the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan”. In this regard, Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the commitment of the Armenian Government to the peace agenda.
Magdalena Grono highlighted to the signing of the agreement and expressed confidence that it will contribute to ensuring long-term peace and stability in the region.
The parties touched upon issues related to the further development of Armenia-EU relations and the effective implementation of democratic reforms in our country with the assistance of the EU.
