Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of the new high technology radiotheraphy unit at the V. A. Fanarjyan National Oncology Center.
Accompanied by Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan and the Director of the National Oncology Center, Narek Manukyan, the Prime Minister toured the newly inaugurated facility, his office said.
He was briefed on the unit’s operations and upcoming programs. The facility is equipped with the latest-generation Halcyon radiation treatment accelerator from the renowned American company Varian, aimed at enhancing healthcare services.
Additionally, two more state-of-the-art multifunctional medical accelerators are set to be installed in the coming months.
The new building, fitted with modern equipment, will provide high-quality and accessible medical services, ensuring patients receive precise and comprehensive care in line with international standards.
