The Head of the NA Armenia-Montenegro Friendship Group Arsen Torosyan, the members of the Group Gegham Manukyan and Mariam Poghosyan met with the delegation led by the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro Periša Kastratović.
Welcoming the guests, Arsen Torosyan highlighted the development of the parliamentary cooperation, underscoring the role of friendship groups in this issue.
The MP spoke about the necessity of realizing the existing potential of collaboration in different spheres.
The Head of the Friendship Group presented to the guests the situation in the region, talked about the negotiations on the peace treaty and the reached agreement. The MP also voiced the issue regarding the Armenian captives and other persons being held in Azerbaijan.
“We are friendly peoples, and this visit testified to the fact that we wish to strengthen the political dialogue existing between the two countries, to deepen the parliamentary cooperation,” the State Secretary of MFA of Montenegro Periša Kastratović noted. The guest spoke about the development of cooperation in a number of spheres, especially in the economic sphere.
