Reuters. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Wednesday (March 26) he hopes the U.S. has enough power to press Russia into an unconditional ceasefire.
Zelenskiy made the comments after Moscow put forward conditions for a halt on strikes in the Black Sea brokered by Washington.
At a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, Zelenskiy said sanctions against Russia should remain in place and be strengthened.
Kyiv earlier said it was prepared to implement the agreement immediately.
