Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, on Independence Day, Armenian government’s press office reports. The congratulatory message reads:
“On the occasion of the Independence Day of the Hellenic Republic, I warmly congratulate you and the fraternal Greek people, wishing your country peace and prosperity.
Greece not only has a unique role as the cradle of democracy, but also today is a successful shining example of parliamentary democracy. We highly appreciate Greece’s support for the democratic reform process being implemented in Armenia, as well as for the further deepening of the Armenia-EU partnership.
The friendship between Armenia and Greece is based on the unwavering friendship, mutual respect and trust between the two fraternal peoples.
I am convinced that in the near future, the potential of multi-sectoral cooperation between the two countries will be best utilized through joint programs, raising it to a strategic level for the benefit and well-being of both peoples.
With the expectation of meeting you in the near future, please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration."
