Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that despite the US-initiated agreement not to strike energy infrastructure facilities, the Ukrainian side continues such attacks.
“On March 19, the Kuban oil depot was hit, and on March 21, the Suja gas metering station in the Kursk region. In addition, there have been repeated barbaric cases of deliberate targeting of drones of the Ukrainian armed forces at residential buildings and social institutions,” Zakharova’s statement said.
According to her, with such steps, Kyiv demonstrates its lack of desire to achieve peace and is trying to disrupt the negotiation process.
“We warn that if the Kyiv regime continues its destructive line, the Russian side reserves the right to respond, including proportionately,” Zakharova said.
