A 3,7 magnitude earthquake hit 8km north of the town of Spitak, Armenia in the early hours of Friday, authorities said.
The quake had a depth of 10km and was detected by the seismic protection service at 05:03 local time, March 21.The intensity in the epicenter measured 5 on the MSK scale.
It was felt at an intensity of MSK 4 in Lori Province, 3-4 in Shirak Province and 2-3 in Aragatsotn Province, the Rescue Service said in a press release. The rescue service did not report injuries or damages.
