China welcomed the conclusion of the peace treaty talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“The government of China welcomes the positive developments in the direction of resolving the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Both countries are important states in their region and reliable partners for China. China sincerely hopes that the countries will be able to resolve disputes through dialogue and talks, contributing to lasting peace and prosperity in the region,” the Chinese foreign ministry said in a statement.
