The document on strategic partnership between Armenia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands covers many areas, including strengthening political and economic ties, infrastructure, deepening cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, including the fight against hybrid threats and threats, strengthening democratic institutions, promoting justice and the rule of law, and people-to-people contacts. This was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a joint press conference with Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp, noting that it will be published soon.
“I would like to note the provision according to which continuous efforts will be made to establish peace and stability in the South Caucasus, a peace that will be based on the principles of sovereignty, territorial integrity, non-use of force and threat of force, and inviolability of internationally recognized borders.
Special attention is also paid to the topic of promoting regional and international trade and transport communications. It is also noted that the Crossroads of Peace can make a significant contribution to this area," said Mirzoyan.
The document also refers to the importance of strengthening cyber resilience and combating hybrid threats. According to Mirzoyan, this is not only a topic of the bilateral agenda between Armenia and the Netherlands, it is more comprehensive and concerns the dialogue between Armenia and the entire European Union as well.
The ministers also discussed the new Armenia-EU agenda, the active agenda being implemented in this direction, the prospects for deepening the partnership and, in this context, support for Armenia's efforts.
