Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the delegation led by Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp.
The Prime Minister welcomed Caspar Veldkamp's visit to Armenia and emphasized the dynamic nature of cooperation between the two countries. Nikol Pashinyan highly appreciated the level of bilateral political dialogue, adding that it is necessary to take steps to further expand ties in the economy and other areas. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the role of the Netherlands in deepening Armenia-European Union relations and in effectively implementing the democratic reform agenda in our country.
Caspar Veldkamp noted that close cooperation based on mutual trust has been established between the Foreign Ministries of the two countries. According to him, the Declaration on Strategic Partnership signed between Armenia and the Netherlands today will elevate bilateral relations to a new level. At the same time, he added that the Netherlands will continue to contribute to the development of Armenia-EU cooperation, including for advancing the reform agenda.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and regional stability.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
