The border delimitation process became very tangible in 2024. We have the first bilateral interstate document with Azerbaijan, which has gone through the procedures of both countries, and each country has de jure approved the document through its own procedure, which is very important, of cornerstone significance. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said this during a press conference held on January 31.
“An agreement has already been reached that in the coming period, the parties and the commissions will focus on the delimitation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border from the Georgian border to the border of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The rest of the information will be announced,” he said.
