“The establishment of a strategic partnership between our countries last year has given new impetus to interstate relations between Armenia and Georgia. I am confident that through the joint efforts of our governments and without any limitations, we will continue to deepen mutually beneficial and multi-sectoral cooperation”, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during a joint press conference with Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in Yerevan.
"Our commission has thoroughly discussed the ongoing programs and new prospects for cooperation between Armenia and Georgia in various fields, including economy, transport, communications, energy, tourism, agriculture, environmental protection, healthcare, culture, education, science, and several other areas.
It must be noted that the cooperative and warm relations between our brotherly countries are based on very concrete and solid realities. Armenia and Georgia unequivocally and mutually respect each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Our countries approach each other’s positions and priorities on various issues with the respect and consideration as strategic partners, striving not only to avoid harm but also to provide maximum support in advancing each other’s interests.
It is also important to emphasize that the societies of our countries share common values, cultural affinities, and even numerous lifestyle traditions, which solidify the enduring friendship between our nations," he stated.
