Yerevan is Moscow’s natural strategic partner and ally, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during talks with his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan.
"Last year was not an easy one in terms of our bilateral relations. I am confident that we will consider all the existing problems in a constructive manner. We have always valued fraternal ties with the Armenian people and Armenia, which is our natural strategic partner and ally," he stressed.
"We are interested in strengthening and developing our centuries-long traditions of friendship and good-neighborliness," the top Russian diplomat noted. "Regular meetings at the highest level, as well as our communication and communication between economic agencies, have laid a good foundation for that," Lavrov added.
