“President Trump has announced an ambitious plan to defeat the ‘Deep State.’ We sincerely hope that this effort will lead to his victory, contributing to global peace and the promotion of healthy values,” stated Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze during the Cabinet meeting, Georgian Public Broadcaster reports.
According to Kobakhidze, success in this fight is crucial for normalizing Georgian-U.S. relations.
“Today marks a significant turning point with the inauguration of a new U.S. president. The past four years have been challenging for both the U.S. and the world, marked by multiple crises, including the ongoing wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, a severe economic downturn in Europe, and the widespread influence of pseudo-liberal propaganda. Additionally, liberal authoritarianism, a global issue, has intensified during this period.
Domestically, we have faced four attempts at revolution, and peace has remained elusive both at home and internationally. We hold great hope that the next four years will bring stability and calm, which will positively impact the world and our country.
President Trump has unveiled an ambitious plan to combat the ‘Deep State.’ We wish him success in this endeavour, as it is pivotal for normalizing Georgian-U.S. relations. A victory in this battle could foster global peace, particularly in our region, and promote healthy values over those that have proliferated in recent years.
We reaffirm our commitment to resetting and revitalizing the Georgia-U.S. strategic partnership. We look forward to significant progress in this direction, with 2025 being a critical year for strengthening our relationship,” he concluded.
