Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is in Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev received him.
"At the meeting, it was emphasized that friendly, fraternal ties and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkey are successfully developing in political, economic and other spheres.
The parties expressed confidence in the further strengthening of bilateral relations. They exchanged views on the prospects of bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest," the office of the President of Azerbaijan said.
Fidan will also have meetings with other high-ranking officials.
