The signing of the comprehensive Strategic Partnership agreement between Russia and Iran proves that the two powers do not intend to tolerate foreign interference and are capable of independently ensuring security in the region, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said.
"Moscow and Tehran do not agree that someone from outside should decide the role of our countries. We are able to conduct our own policy and together we are ready to develop security and economy in the region, to bring peace and stability here. We don't need the West," the Iranian President emphasized.
According to him, if Iran and Russia had followed the "instructions given from outside", they would have changed their face and policy many times already.
