Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The diplomats, among other things, paid special attention to the Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement process and the problems in the peace negotiations.
The border delimitation process between Armenia and Azerbaijan was discussed. According to the Azerbaijani mass media, Bayramov informed Fidan about the further steps to be taken in this direction.
Hakan Fidan called the agreement reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan on delimitation an important step.
"Establishing peace in the South Caucasus is in the interests of all parties," said the Turkish diplomat. At the same time, he noted that Ankara understands Baku's concerns.
There was also a reference to the development of relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan in the fields of economy and communications. Bayramov said that currently work is being done to increase the volume of Azerbaijani gas exports to Turkey and Europe.
