At the end of the 10th session of the intergovernmental joint commission for economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia in Baku, four documents were signed in the fields of foreign policy, maritime transport, and agriculture.
Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a press conference.
"Mr. President, you are a leader who is an example for us. You protect the interests of your people and the state," said Kobakhidze.
He stated that Tbilisi aims to activate relations with Baku in all spheres.
"We are happy that Azerbaijan is among the five main trading partners of Georgia, and we are ready to expand trade," said the Prime Minister of Georgia.
He invited Ilham Aliyev to visit Georgia.
The President of Azerbaijan also noted that Kobakhidze's visit symbolizes the high level of relations between the two states.
According to Aliyev, the success of the Georgian Dream in the elections will be a guarantee of stability in the South Caucasus.
