Armenia's High-Tech Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan referred to the program 'News of the Week' aired on Russian All-Russian State Television the other day, during which artificially generated speeches against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia were voiced.
"There was another TV program with similar content, which is blocked, Solovyov's program.
All the programs that will be broadcast in the territory of the country must comply with the legislation with their TV content, just as Armenian TV channels follow these rules," said the Minister.
The High-Tech Minister mentioned that they submitted a complaint to Armenia's Television and Radio Commission.
"There will be a specific response, and after that the Ministry of Education and Culture will specify what to do," the Minister stated, noting that the broadcast of Kiselyov's program may be blocked.
Hayrapetyan replied to the question, "What was said that was against the sovereignty?" sayin that the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations were touched upon in that program.
The Russian Ambassador to Armenia was summoned to Armenia's Foriegn Ministry, he was handed a note of complaint.
