The Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan received a delegation on Monday led by Ara Shahverdyan, Head of the Iran-Armenia Friendship Group of the Majlis of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to Grigoryan's office, he welcomed the delegation’s visit to Armenia and emphasized that Armenia-Iran bilateral relations are rooted on solid foundations and shared natural interests.
Grigoryan also underscored steps aimed at fostering the continuous development of the ties. Ara Shahverdyan, in turn, noted that bilateral relations tend to develop further.
The interlocutors stressed the significance of Armenia's Crossroads of Peace project, emphasizing its role in promoting peace and security in the South Caucasus.
