At the moment, the Republic of Armenia is a member of the EAEU, and at the moment there is no agenda of the Government to leave the EAEU, Armenia's Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said about this during the press conference summing up the year 2024.
"The process of joining the European Union is a parallel agenda, and our task is not to discuss these agendas, but to increase the resilience and competitiveness of our economy. It is not important whether Armenia will be in the EU or EAEU, our state must increase its competitiveness. We must produce complex products as much as possible, we must provide as high and competitive services as possible," said the Minister.
