A historic window of opportunity for lasting peace, stability and prosperity has opened in the South Caucasus, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said.
“I believe that Armenia will also act with a long-term strategic perspective. We value Prime Minister Pashinyan’s positive messages in this regard. We note that he expresses a position in favor of peace, contributes to positive progress in this process,” Fidan said.
He expressed support for bilateral negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan without mediators.
“Establishing peace will bring with it new opportunities that have no analogues in the development of our region,” the Turkish Foreign Minister said.
