Speaking about the Crossroads of Peace, I must mention our contacts with Turkey in this context. I have said publicly that Armenia and Turkey have agreed to carry out a process of assessing the state of railway infrastructure through relevant specialists, and, of course, we are convinced that the re-operation of the Kars-Gyumri railway will provide great economic opportunities not only to Armenia and Turkey, but also to a much larger, wider region. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said this during a concluding press conference.
“In this case, as in Azerbaijan, the unblocking of transport routes will become a significant factor of peace and stability in the region,” he said.
