Last year, we made significant progress in the process of normalizing relations with Azerbaijan. I am talking, of course, about the border delimitation process. We managed to sign the first international document ever between the two countries - the Regulations on the Joint Activities of the Two Border Commissions, and then the delimitation of a certain section of the interstate border took place on the ground, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said at the 2024 final press conference.
In this context, the Foreign Minister, taking this opportunity, urged to visit the delimitated section if there is any opportunity, to see the border equipment and life in the delimitated section.
“There is an agreement to continue this work, presumably in January of this month, another meeting between the two deputy prime ministers and the commissions headed by them will take place. There is also a perception of how and from where to continue the delimitation,” he said.
