In an interview with local media, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, among other issues, touched upon relations with the new Iranian Government.
"It is too early to talk about this, we have not had any serious contacts with the current Iranian leadership. There have been some contacts between members of the Government, which were mostly related to economic and transport issues," he said.
Aliyev also recalled the attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Tehran, describing it as organized terrorism that affected bilateral relations.
