In response to the VOA Armenian Service's inquiry, the State Department specifically noted that the US government supports the efforts of Armenia and Azerbaijan to reach a stable and dignified peace agreement, which is essential for a safe and prosperous South Caucasus.
The State Department added that the US is ready to work with both parties in any format where both parties can agree on where they can make progress.
