Armenia's Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Armenia Mehdi Sobhani. The Minister highly appreciated the multipolar cooperation with friendly Iran, particularly emphasizing the close cooperation established between the Ministries of Justice.
Referring to the warm relations between Armenia and Iran, the Iranian Ambassador emphasized the importance of continuously improving the established practice of jointly resolving problems, quoting the saying: "When you open the window, dust also enters with the fresh air," in response to which the Minister of Justice reaffirmed the unity of efforts in quickly filtering and resolving emerging problems.
The meeting touched upon a number of issues of mutual interest related to the justice system. Details regarding the Iranian citizens imprisoned in our country were discussed. At the end of the meeting, the need to organize the second session of the Armenia-Iran working group on judicial and legal issues in Tehran was reaffirmed.
