Ambassador Makunts had a meeting with Congressman Ken Calvert (R-California). The interlocutors discussed issues relating to establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan and maintaining stability in the South Caucasus region, Armenian Embassy to the USA reports.
The Ambassador reaffirmed the Republic of Armenia's commitment to further strengthening Armenia-USA relations, expressing optimism that a strategic partnership between the two countries will soon be formalized.
