Charles Aznavour statue is expected to be unveiled in Yerevan on May 22, to mark the singer’s birth anniversary, Yerevan City Hall informs.
According to the municipality, the contract for the construction of the statue has been signed, and the corresponding funds have already been allocated in the 2024 budget.
The construction and installation of the statue will continue in 2025, and the statue will be unveiled on May 22 to mark the end of the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Aznavour’s birth.
