First Deputy Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Kerim Veliyev received the delegation led by the head of the NATO Defense College, Lieutenant General Max Nielsen.
According to the message of the Azerbaijani side, Kerim Veliyev presented the reforms implemented in the Azerbaijani army.
Nielsen also highly appreciated the contribution of the servicemen of the Azerbaijani army in partnership programs with NATO, including participation in peacekeeping missions and other activities.
At the meeting, the prospects for the development of cooperation with NATO in the field of military education and other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
