During a solemn ceremony held at the Élysée Palace, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to France Arman Khachatryan presented his credentials to French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the private meeting following the ceremony, President Macron congratulated Arman Khachatryan on his appointment and wished him fruitful work in favor of strengthening and developing the privileged relations between the two countries.
Expressing gratitude for the warm wishes and emphasizing his readiness to make efforts to further enrich the agenda of bilateral cooperation, Ambassador Khachatryan reaffirmed the desire of the Armenian government to expand and develop the strategic partnership relations and multi-sectoral cooperation with friendly France.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on the developments taking place in the South Caucasus and the ongoing efforts of the Armenian government to establish lasting and just peace in the region.
