“Russia's special military operation in Ukraine will end when all the goals set by President Vladimir Putin are achieved”, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, TASS reports.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) Director Sergey Naryshkin said that Moscow is close to achieving its military goals, while the Ukrainian armed forces are on the verge of a collapse.
"The special military operation will end when all the goals set by the president, the supreme commander-in-chief, are achieved. These goals can be achieved both as a result of the special military operation and as a result of the peace talks," he told reporters.
Meanwhile, according to the Kremlin spokesman, there is no negotiation process because the Ukrainian side refuses to engage in it. "That's why the special military operation will continue until its victorious end," Peskov emphasized.
