Syrian Government troops continue to remain in the north of Hama province, the Ministry of Defense of the country announced, detailing that the news about the capture of a number of settlements by the militants is not true.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense also denied the news about the withdrawal of troops from Hama, stressing that Syrian and Russian warplanes are striking terrorist centers and supply routes.
Earlier, the media reported that after capturing Hama, the militants continued to advance. They also reportedly took control of the cities of Rastan and Talbiz, which are only 3 km from Homs, the country's third largest city.
