On Wednesday evening, protests resumed on Rustaveli Avenue in Tbilisi.
At the moment, citizens who disagree with the policies of the current authorities are gathering again near the Georgian Parliament building. Interfax reported that the protesters are holding Georgian and European Union flags. Police have been mobilized in the streets surrounding the Parliament building.
Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili called on Tbilisi's international partners to immediately respond to the searches of opposition party offices and the arrests of leaders and activists.
