U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan Mark Libby has announced his resignation due to health issues.
"Recent medical tests indicate that it is time for me to return home and fully focus on my health. Therefore, I will retire once we conclude this extraordinarily challenging but exceptionally successful 2024 calendar year", the American diplomat stated.
