The Armenian Seismic Protection Service has recorded 3.4 magnitude earthquake near the town of Stepanavan in the north of the country.
According to the agency, the earthquake occurred 11 kilometres northwest of Stepanavan at a depth of 10 kilometres at 08:38 local time on Monday.
The earthquake was felt at the epicentre with intensity of 4-5 MSK. It was also felt with intensity of 3-4 MSK in Stepanavan and Tashir towns, as well as in Metsavan, Katnarat and Privolnoye villages.
