The politicization of the educational space is unacceptable - we call on them to immediately restore the educational processes and continue to fulfill their obligations, Georgia's Minister of Education, Science and Youth, Aleksandre Tsuladze, told journalists after the end of the Government session, IPN reports.
According to him, it is the state's obligation not to introduce politics into educational institutions either from their side or from their opponents.
"For me, as the Minister of Education, Science and Youth, it is unacceptable to politicize the educational space. We, as the state, must ensure that on the one hand, politics does not enter educational institutions from our side, and it is also our obligation to protect the educational space so that politics does not enter schools and universities from the side of opponents either.
Therefore, it is our obligation, and also the obligation of educational institutions, schools and universities, to ensure that the educational process runs smoothly, as it is provided by the authorization process and as it is provided in the agreements concluded with them, that is, educational institutions, schools and universities, precisely Because they need to ensure this process runs smoothly, they receive funding.
My personal opinion is that delaying this process is a violation of this obligation, which will not be approved by us, on the contrary, we call on them to immediately restore the educational processes and continue to fulfill their obligations, again as it is required of them", said Aleksandre Tsuladze.
