The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is distributing a statement calling on parents to remove their children from a rally of opposition supporters outside the parliament building in Tbilisi, RIA Novosti reports.
"According to the legislation of Georgia, all children have the right to enjoy the freedom of peaceful assembly. However, the current actions many times went beyond the peaceful assembly and took on a violent character.
We urge parents and legal representatives of minors to act in accordance with the best interests of the child and protect minors from an aggressive environment," the Ministry said in a statement.
