Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Netherlands to Armenia Marieke Harriet Monroy-Winter, who is just assuming her diplomatic mission in our country.
The Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador on assuming the position and wished her success in further developing and strengthening cooperation between Armenia and the Netherlands. Nikol Pashinyan noted that close cooperation has been established between the two countries in recent years, and there is an active political dialogue. The Prime Minister expressed hope that in the near future, as a result of effective bilateral work, ties in various fields will further expand.
The Ambassador emphasized the interest of the Government of the Netherlands in developing relations with Armenia, including in the areas of promoting democratic reforms, expanding economic ties, and developing Armenia-European Union relations.
The interlocutors also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
