The special forces removed the participants of the ongoing action in Tbilisi from Rustaveli avenue, at the same time several people were arrested. The chain of special forces was on Rustaveli avenue all night long, not giving the protesters a chance to return to the territory of the parliament, from where the law enforcement officers took them out at around midnight.
In the morning, the law enforcement officers started pushing the protesters to the Rustaveli metro station, where another group of special forces was stationed. When the demonstrators passed by them, moving in the direction of the subway, the security forces rushed after the demonstrators and arrested some of them.
Another anti-government protest action started in Georgia last evening. This is already the fourth action in a row. They last until dawn and end with special forces dispersing the protesters.
