According to Georgia's Ministry of Internal Affairs, 32 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were injured during the events that took place near the Parliament last night,

As mentioned in the information released by the agency, 13 of them needed surgical intervention. 1 law enforcement officer remains in the medical facility.
In addition, according to the information of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, "43 people were arrested by the law enforcement officers for disobedience to the legal request of the police officer and petty hooliganism during the action."
"We would like to provide information to the public about the developments on Rustaveli Avenue, near the Parliament building. 32 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were injured as a result of illegal and violent actions carried out by the participants of the rally. Some of the injured have severe head, eye and body injuries. 13 of them needed surgical intervention. Until now, 1 law enforcement officer remains in the medical facility."
The employees of different units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were mobilized on Rustaveli Avenue after the start of the rally and protected the public order.
During the course of the rally, some of the participants of the rally took place several times in provocative actions. The Ministry of Internal Affairs called several times on the organizers of the gathering and the aggressive groups to express their protest within the framework established by the law, however, they did not obey the instructions of the policemen, verbally insulted them and confronted them physically.
