Four Israeli Merkava tanks crossed the Lebanese border near the village of Al-Khiyam, violating a ceasefire agreement, the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported.
Earlier, it was reported that Israeli soldiers opened fire at the entrance to the southern Lebanese town of Bint Jbeil, injuring two civilians.
The ceasefire agreement between Lebanon and Israel came into effect at 4:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday.
