Armenia's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Yamandu Orsi on his election as the next President of Uruguay.
The message states that Pashinyan highly values the historically formed friendly relations between Armenia and Uruguay, and notes that in recent years they have entered a new phase of development.
The large Armenian community of Uruguay also plays a significant role in deepening the interaction between the two countries, Pashinyan added.
Besides, he expressed his willingness to work together and enrich their bilateral agenda and for the benefit of the two friendly peoples and countries.
Furthermore, Armenia's Prime Minister invited the President-elect of Uruguay to pay an official visit to Armenia at a convenient time for him.
