Within the framework of the working visit to Finland, on November 29, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a meeting with Minister for European Affairs and Ownership Steering of Finland, Johan Joakim Strand.
The interlocutors discussed in detail the steps being taken to deepen the Armenia-EU partnership and the main components of the new agenda. Minister Mirzoyan referred to the Armenian Prime Minister's statement in the European Parliament, emphasizing that Armenia is ready to move closer to the EU as much as the EU considers possible. Guided by this vision, Ararat Mirzoyan and Johan Joakim Strand discussed specific programs implementation of which could yield tangible results both in the Armenia-Finland bilateral agenda and within the Armenia-EU framework.
The April 5 meeting held in the Armenia-US-EU format and the ongoing cooperation aimed at strengthening Armenia's resilience was touched upon.
During the meeting views were also exchanged on regional developments.
