President Vahagn Khachaturyan received the delegation headed by Mukash Iskandirov, head of the Kazakhstan-Armenia Friendship Group of the Majilis of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The President welcomed the delegation’s visit to Armenia and emphasized the importance of interparliamentary cooperation in strengthening the relations and partnership between the two countries.
Mukash Iskandirov expressed gratitude for the reception and highlighted that their efforts within the friendship groups and parliamentary frameworks are aimed at expanding the friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, the significance of parliamentary diplomacy was underlined as an effective tool for strengthening the friendship between the two peoples and creating new opportunities for collaboration. Regional realities and developments were also discussed, with particular attention given to the “Crossroads of Peace” project, aimed at ensuring stable peace and development in the region.
Special focus was placed on the development and strengthening of political, economic, and cultural ties. Both sides agreed that cooperation in these areas would contribute to expanding mutually beneficial relations between the two countries, fostering not only the further development of their partnership but also serving as an additional impetus for regional stability and prosperity.
